Welcome to the official page of the Montgomery Hunters Campaigner March. The march will be held October 11th, 2024 in conjunction with the Brownville, NE Civil War event on October 12th and 13th. This march is meant to be an educational immersion experience open to any and all who wish to participate provided that they follow the guidelines and are willing to learn. It will help participants understand the life of the everyday soldier, marching from place to place. It should help to improve the impressions of the soldier on campaign. The march will be spread out over Friday. It is approximately 16 miles total, but it will be split 8 miles in the morning and 8 miles the afternoon/evening. Since the purpose of this march is to learn something about troops on campaign, you will be required to have a knapsack or bedroll with you.
